My journey into pet dental care
My passion for oral pet care began in 2022 when I trained with Emmi-pet under the wonderful guidance of Anastasia from The Dog Tooth Fairy. While I've started by working on my own dogs' teeth, my background in the pet world runs much deeper.
For about six years, I worked in a veterinary practice, gaining valuable experience on reception, in the pharmacy, and as a care assistant. Although I later spent 5-6 years as a security officer, my heart has always been with animals. I've trained in various pet-related fields, including grooming and pet care, dog CPR, and now, after retiring in December, I'm fully embracing this new adventure.
Currently, I operate as a mobile service around the Thornbury area, initially on a part-time basis to see how things go.
Improving lives, one smile at a time
The most rewarding part of my work is seeing the positive impact healthier gums and teeth have on pets. By addressing plaque and tartar, and protecting against gum disease, I help improve their overall health.
This allows them to enjoy their food more comfortably, leading to a significant improvement in their quality of life. Making pets happier and more comfortable is what I enjoy most, and it's the core motivation behind Fangtastic pet oral care.
